Common mis-picks
- Max 4 Staybridge Glenview: 1 King And 1 Queen 2 Bedroom Suite. Earlier IHG search retained max 4; not among the cards on the five-guest run we re-read. Not a five-person fit for that exact room. Glenview page
- Needs sofa One-bedroom suites at these hotels. Oakbrook doubles (max 5), Lincolnshire 2 Double (max 6) and Glenview 2 Full XL (max 6) put the fifth person on the sofa bed. Oakbrook · Lincolnshire · Glenview
Different room types to note
A different room type is not the same as “unfit for five.” Match the exact name before you pay.
- Different type Oakbrook: 1 King 1 Queen 2 Bedroom Suite. Still max 5, but only two fixed beds so the fifth uses the sofa bed — not the queen + two-doubles layout compared above. Oakbrook page
- Different type Oakbrook: 2 Double 1 Bedroom Suite Pet Friendly. Same beds/max as the non-Pet one-bedroom; the name marks the pet-friendly twin. Oakbrook page
